DESCRIPTION:The month of Elul is a time of reflection and preparation leading to the transformative High Holy Days season. Join the Chanting & Chocolate Band for a musical spiritual tune-up on Sunday\, August 28\, from 7:30-9 pm at Or Shalom. \nYou are invited after the chant to enjoy tea and triple-chocolate brownies downstairs. \nThe $10 suggested donation at the door supports the education of four Jewish children in the Abayudaya community in Uganda. No registration required. \nThis month’s chant will be led by Elana Brief\, Charles Cohen\, Laura Duhan-Kaplan\, Charles Kaplan\, and Lorne Mallin.
