Description: Currently, I work at the Vancouver School of Theology, an ecumenical Christian seminary on the campus of UBC. I am Professor of Jewish Studies and Director of Inter-Religious Studies.To this work, I bring my background in multiple Jewish movements, plus my studies of Ayurvedic Yoga, Christian spirituality, western Philosophy, and Jungian psychology. In our session, I will first speak about my background, my current work, and what an integrative spirituality grounded in Jewish practice might look like. Then, we will discuss a short Jewish text about spirituality, and share a spiritual exercise both Jewish and integrative.
